What else can my 6 week old chicks eat

My chicks are doing great and going out in the morning and going in at night. I was wondering if there was anything I could give them as a treat. They are 6 weeks old now. It is not a replacement for feed.

you could give them any type of dried insect as a treat in moderation. if you feed them a harder treat make sure they've had grit.

Is there a vegetable or something that they can have, I don’t have any dried insects right now.

I also gave them a little grit because they are outside eating a little grass

corn, lettuce, cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, peas, and green beans are all great choices, though they may not eat any treats at all. i've raised hundreds of chicks and have never had juveniles interested in treats.

ive never seen juveniles use any toy besides feathers to play keep away
