What foods will harm chickens?

white bread is terrible for everyone, whole wheat bread is healthy

Our chickens run, flapping their wings to gain speed to beat the others to the back door if we throw bread outside. The roosters run so fast they do skids to stop. They go crazy over plain boiled pasta too, a nice warm treat on a cold winter night. Is oatmeal ok to give them? As it is getting cooler, I'd like to give them some before bed.

Green potatoes are not unripe. Green potatoes have been exposed to sunlight too much. A chemical is produced that is bitter and is slightly poisonoust. Dont know if it would harm chickens though.
Just for information, new potatoes are the ones that are not fully grown and they are delicious.

Favorite at our house is corn bread. Sometimes I put whole corn in it for them (you can also "hide" other veggies if they are chopped up).
Husband loves corn bread too, so I have to mark which is our and which is for the chickens (I also throw the egg, shell and all in theirs)

Our girls also like apples, cucumbers, grapes, celery and squashes. They've learnt to stand outside the kitchen window while we prepare meals to get any scraps we are too lazy to take to their pens. Any suggestions for other fruit or veg to try? We've heard not to give lettuce so what about cabbage?
