what gender are my muscovys?

hi!! i have 2 muscovy ducks. they're both 10 weeks old and im wondering, can anyone tell if theyre hens or drakes? theyre both the same size and have been since they were ducklings.

They are little too young to be certain (i prefer not to sex my muscovy until 16-20 weeks as I have been wrong at younger ages.) However both yours seem to probably be female. Pointed tails not wide tails and not much by way of carruncles, although drakes really dont start getting florid carruncles until 26 weeks.

A good sex differential is their voice and yours are way too young for that. Females have a sweet bubbly sounding voice. The drakes have virtually no voice but make a huffing sound when excited. Some people call it hissing although there is no ssss or ZZZ in the sound

Don't take this as certain, and please come back to us and tell us what sex they are at 26 weeks!!
