I happen to have two chickens that are still growing up - ( And they're getting pecked at by my two older chickens... So now they're scared of objects. Poor little guys.) And I live in the city with 4 chickens, a family of rabbits, squrriels, insects, and an old neighborhood dog and hawk free (Yay!) And we live in a very large enviorment with lots of plants grass and trees which is nice.
But we still live in the city and its trouble if they are roosters... We'll have to give them away otherwise... So here are thier pics.

And then this is my other little chook.

I think they are about , ummm.... 9 or 10 weeks, I guess? The black one is the black star, and Im not too sure about the brown one. But its a bantam, for sure.

they both look like pullets. a black star is a black sex link and its 300% a pullet but full body shots on the other one would help

The first one is a Black Star, or Black Sex- Link. That black and red coloring automatically means it's a girl.
Not sure about the other one but it looks like a pullet.

thanks very much everyone! I thought I was in a situation there becuase my two other hens look SO different.

I started my flock with 6 red sex links. They all looked pretty much the same in the beginning, but pretty soon, I was able to tell them apart. Some were almost white, some mostly red. And, they changed as they grew older. So, it's no surprise they look different than the others.
