Sorry, but my 3-month-old buff chantecler doesn't have that much red in her face and comb, nor a comb nearly that wide. I think you've got a handsome cockerel. His legs/feet look look large and very different from a pullet's of the same age (I notice that in my Delaware cockerel - very different look to his legs and feet compared to his female hatch mates.)

I agree it's a cockerel. It's hard to see the hackle feathers, but they look pointy too.
My white Chanties are from Cackle, and I've been very happy with their service, and the birds. My avatar is from there, and he's been a very good boy.

Thank you. I've been getting my birds from Meyer, been happy with them. But they don't carry white Chanteclers so I will consider Cackle next time I order.
