I'm so sad to hear that! I have one I named Minnie Mouse, I have regular (non chicken) birds, so I did my usual bird training and taught it to step up onto my finger. It loves to fly and sleeps half the time on the perch. It is 2 weeks old today, I didn't think there was much development in the comb, but I think it's just covered by the fluffOh, that's definitely a he.
I'm guessing roo. I have two d'uccle. One is a male IMO ..his tail feathers came in fast and so did the comb. The female just started to get a comb. She is smaller than him, smaller leg feathers, smaller tail feathers, smaller comb.
The Mille Fleur of mine is a roo ..pretty sure. 4 weeks.
