what gender is this Producton red chick

We have 6 rescue production reds and have a few that look like they will be roosters. Please help

The three pictured look like cockerels. How old are they?

They are definitely cockerels. Only cockerels develop such large red combs and wattles at such a young age.

I also have a buff orpington that acts like a rooster and has strange feathers but has a small comb.. he is 11 weeks old could he/she be a roo or just a strange hen

Your production red (and the other reds in the photo) are cockerels. If your Orpington doesn't have a very large comb, it is probably a pullet, but we'll need a photo to tell for sure.

Does your buff have any dark pink or red on comb?
