What gender is this Rhode Island

However when I started researching, to see if such a thing were even possible, I found that it is actually physically possible and there are recorded cases of hens fathering chicks. The anatomy of the chicken somehow (strangely) allows for this and when the left ovary (the only functioning ovary in chickens is the left one; the right remains small, undeveloped, and inactive) becomes infected or damaged or anything, it stops producing estrogen which leads to an uptick in testosterone which in turn, can activate that right ovary into what I believe was called an “ovo-testis” and cause phenotypical changes as well.

Oh I completely understand the logic when applied to humans. I dont know what its called but hens combs will go redder when they are laying and kinda bleach back out when they stop. She is "growling" at you. Like, Im sitting over here about to lay an egg and you need to back up ! any closer and a peck would of been next.
