What genetics by two favorite chickens have???

Yes, the gene is an autosomal recessive(ig) and the dominant wildtype mutation is Ig+, if you cross a cream legbar with a none-cream colored gold based bird they will be(among other heterozygous genes of course) Ig+/ig
Not sure if shes legbar or not.

I am sure your birds are not, I was just mentioning that to follow up on the comment about the work done by Dr. Reginald Punnett on the recessive cream gene, working on what he describes as Mongrels, and while these birds may have been from stock coming directly from the Araucana tribes from Chile, the birds that Dr. Punnett was working were far from what you can call "Araucana" today, most likely some form of Colloncas(single comb strain)

So if you really think about it, by the very description of Dr. Punnett blue eggers they would be classified as "Easter Eggers" by today standards and that would mean that Cream Legbars, Isbars get their blue egg gene from single comb EEs..
