The TV clicks on at 6:45am to the local news. Much more enjoyable then a screaming alarm clock.
I listen to the news till it goes off at 3 till 7am. Hopefully I am mobile enough to reach the remote and turn to the weather channel for "Local on the 8s". By the time that is off I am up(sort-of). After some fumbling for clothes, I stumble through the house towards the back door hoping I managed to get some sort of clothing on.
Out the door by 7:02 and to the feed shed. Mix up breakfast and start my rounds. Open the house, set out the feeders and fill them for the day, check water, and look over the birds. Depending on the days weather and the Lot occupants I either close the gate behind me or leave it open for them to roam.
Open the starter houses and cover the starter grower feeders to keep the adult birds out of it.
Give Cream and whoever else is at the backdoor treats(mealworms) and head back in by 7:30. Cream is a spoiled Blue Cream Light Brown Dutch Hen. I watch some more news till I wake up enough to actually do something.
I don't drink Coffee.
