What have you done today to save money?

I hung clothes on the line to dry ( I always do) lol...and I made bread rather than run to the store ( and end up buying other things too)

I clipped coupons in sundays paper yesterday and used them this morning at the grocery store. I saved $13.75

Eat at home much more often and chill on unnecessary buys. It's done wonders.

It's surprising how nice it is to eat out when it's a real treat and not something you're doing because you're too tired or don't feel like it. It's quite inexpensive!

Just today to save money...

I put on my clothes from Goodwill
ate lunch at home
used water to clean instead of cleaning products
used cloth diapers on my youngest
read a book instead of watching tv
swapped books online

thats all I could think of for just today

Oh... "today". Yeah.. I missed that part.

I commuted to work by bus like I always do ($2 for a 70-mile round trip commute)
I didn't buy a coffee this morning. That was tough.
I brought my lunch.
I made suntea on the ledge outside of my office window instead of buying soda mid-afternoon.

ETA: I took some things out of the freezer this morning to have for dinner, including a pizza dough. We may try grilling it - it's too hot for the oven and I've never BBQd a pizza.
