What have you seen at Wal-Mart?

I avoid Wal Mart on every possible shopping trip I need to take.
But the one thing I think that drives me nuts it they put all your stuff in that little merry-go-round thing and then you have to pick it all up and put it in your cart and you never know if you have all the items you paid for and they usually start ringing the next person up before you have all your stuff in your cart.

I love my Wal*Mart! My small town down-sized "Super Wal*Mart" is getting new floors at this moment and they are working so hard.
Some of the patrons could use a little help when they decide to do things that should only be done in the privacy of their own home though!

Do y'all remember the days (like the Brady's) that we used to get dressed up to go to Sears? And we used to go as a family and it was a special treat!

We have become such consumers, it is everyday we go to the store and now we do it like it is our own store!

Y'all sure do give me things to ponder!

I agree that this thread has turned into criticizing people who act or live differently.

As far as the statement that a 1 year old obviously knows better....
I definitely don't think a child that young has the reasoning skills to know better. Now your 3 year old... yes ... but kids under 5 are generally hungry, tired, or over stimulated when putting up a fuss and Walmart is a place that could happen in the first 5 minutes.

I think she was making a yuk yuk about her own baby and kids.

I hate those things too! I try to go to the self checkout just to avoid them if I can! I don't shop at walmart very often as it's not close but I do end up there after midnight when I work a concert just because it's on my way home and it's WAY less crowded at that time.. although the ones you do see.....

Let's just say it's a good shot of self esteem for me LOL

I once saw two really fat dudes get into a fight over a parking space. It was a short fight, because not one, but both of them had "wardrobe malfunctions" in round one ... hard to fight with your pants around your ankles.

Everytime I go I will bring in 2 carts from the parking lot.
The greeter is always so appreciative! At the Wal*Mart that I used to frequent, they would give you a ticket everytime you brought in a cart. Every week or month they would draw a ticket for a prize.
It was fun to check even though I never won myself.
