What is considered basic obedience!?

He slipped his collar today and I didn’t notice right away cause I was eating (he was on his outside leash he’s been on a million times so I thought he was fine for a bit) but… he didn’t even leave the yard. I look out and he’s just in the middle of the yard sniffing. :lau and he came barreling over when I called him, went with me to find his collar (still attached to the leash and no he was not stuck on anything lol), and let me put it back on him. Tighter than before cause I tightened it LOL it was a bit loose before but even so, I didn’t think it was loose enough to slip over his fat head. :lau 🙈

Anyways, THAT is why he is so good. Well, one of MANY reasons LOL

He is honestly the best dog I’ve ever had.

Every other one we’ve had would have just taken off the minute they realized they were free LOL

That's wonderful, SD. But ... he didn't get that way all on his own. Give yourself some credit. There's a reason he loves you and would rather stay close to you than run off and go see what's over the next hill.
