No, I don't normally go for the higher fat treats for them. I think she has to be pooping, since she has been like this for a while and her behavior is the same as always. I'd assume that she would act different if she hasn't been pooping. I'll make sure to notice next time I am out with them to make sure she poops. Maybe she is just eating more than the other two ducks. Also, they all just molted very recently. So I hope she will start laying again soon.Is she pooping? If she is pooping she is not egg bound. If she was laying before but isn't egg bound, she may have just stopped because she is molting or about to molt.
That is the spot where ducks store extra fat. She may just be overweight. Does she get a lot of high fat treats like mealworms or BOSS?

Thank you! Yes she is a girl.Looks like her abdomen...how much are you feeding her? She is a pretty girl!(I think she is a girl)....
I feed them once in the morning a big scoop that seems to last them all day. I assume is enough for all three of them. I don't really measure it all out. Maybe she is eating more than the other two.Thank you!Exhibition means they are “show quality” ducks. Bred for certain eye appealing traits. Rouens can have a deep keel like casportpony said. Also dewlap Toulouse geese look like that. So I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Google dewlap Toulouse....![]()
If she’s acting normal than I would guess she isn’t egg bound. You’d notice other symptoms by now.No, I don't normally go for the higher fat treats for them. I think the amount you are giving them is fine. I have a little bucket and just fill it to the line...it is about 3/4 cup per duck. They eat it all and I don't give them more cuz they will get really fat if I don't(ducks put on weight fast!).Thank you! That's interesting. I haven't had any overeating problems with my ducks or chickens. I feed at night (easier with my schedule) and by the next night there is still food left. Sometimes they will finish it all but that's on days with bad weather when the chickens don't go outside. I wonder if it's because mine free range all day. Are yours in a run for all or part of the day?I think the amount you are giving them is fine. I have a little bucket and just fill it to the line...it is about 3/4 cup per duck.
