Sounds like something I would say.... then think...

That didn't come out just right.

And then... You'd be sleepin' on the couch! haha

Nope, not at my house. I'm proud to say that after over 15 years of marriage we've stuck to our rule of never going to bed mad.

We did have a couple of nights during the first two years of marriage when we didn't go to bed at all that night, just sat glaring at each other across the kitchen table.

MSFarmboy, I agree with you. I am 44 and very rarely wear makeup. I on occasion with use a translucent foundation to even out my skin tone if I need to go out some place special. I have some sunspots and freckles and it is a nice change. No nascara, eyeshadow, blush, or painted nails either!

Natural beauty is real beauty. I feel sorry for young girls who are already beginning to try to look like something they are not. They will not ever know who they really are. Kids grow up too quickly and women don't realize their true beauty. Do you really need to have your face on before anyone can see you or speak to you? I once knew a woman who was totally bent out of shape because my husband and I stopped by to visit and she was in a sweatshirt!!! Seriously?? Come by and visit me anytime, and no need to call ahead. Messy hair, PJ's, and no makeup doesn't worry me

I like my man natural too. Don't worry about pressing your jeans or loading the cologne on. There is nothing nicer to look at than a man in jeans and workboots. No tuxedos or dyed hair on my man

Life is too short to worry about getting dressed up and putting on your makeup to do your yard work just in case someone comes by to visit. Do you really want to be known as two different people anyway. I mean really, the "good" you and the "bad" you, huh???? Why can't natural be good too?

That's a positive if it makes you feel confident, but... I'm just saying that it's sad that confidence cannot come from within. People should try to find themselves instead of creating a new one. There is so much more comfort in not needing to conform to a natural look. Comfort with who I am and touching it up just a tiny bit gives me absolute confidence, but overdoing it by creating a new look is just not for me.

It's not wrong, I just don't feel the need and think that most who do don't really know their true being. I love who I am, and I love my hubby the way he is. I take pride in my appearance without going overboard and without ever feeling inadequate. Happiness and beauty come from within
