This the second one of these I found in the coop. It feels like jello. It was in the bigger coop where 2 ladies sleep. They don’t lay any more. Louise is 8 and Rosy is 4. Both seem healthy and happy.
The 3 girls that lay sleep in the smaller coop.

Cut it in half. It it has a yolk it might be an egg without a shell. Older hens that have stopped laying can sometimes pop one out for the good old times. If it's uniform and has no yolk it's probably a lash egg (an infection) and you can treat with Baytril (Enrofloxacin).
