What is on my Ameraucana pullets nose??

One of our 3 Ameraucana girls had something pop up on bridge of her beak. They are 3.5 months old. I feel silly asking.
The are our first Ameraucana's & I am still new to chicken's.

It seems like a growth. It's not soft. A little oblong on bottom, round on top.

What’s their setup like? They may have cut their beak on something.

Also they’re Easter Eggers, ameraucana mixes. Hatcheries call them ameraucanas but they aren’t pure. But they can lay blue, green, pink or brown and are very sweet!

Hi there, welcome to BYC!

I'm not new to chickens at all and have raised more than most folks could shake a stick at.. but have NOT seen anything like that before and learn new stuff daily. It isn't a silly question at all!

Have you inspected it to see if it's a fleshy growth like a mole or wart? Or does it seem like beak material? Possibly a piece of food dried on? Hard or pliable?

And to verify.. it's coming from the beak and not the comb area.

She's a lovely Easter Egger!

(often mislabeled or sold as a representation but not conforming to the standard of perfection) One of my favorite breeds!

Figured they weren't pure. Very sweet & grow so fast. they're bigger than out 10 month old Polish's. They have green legs. The cheeks show me there is Ameraucana in there lol.
