What is one food that your chickens just will NOT eat?

mine eat everything. they are like a swarm of locusts. sometimes i worry that they might turn on me. last night they had spagetti with sauce. it was a hilarious. you ever watch animal planet and see a pride of lions eating at a kill? that was them.

I tried that - raw. They ate the 'guts' but left the little bit of flesh.

Tomatoes were a big hit tho - I cut them in half so the girls cld get to the seeds, and all that was left was the skins

mine won't touch carrots or cabbage but just watch your hand if your eating a tuna sandwich.. almost lost a finger when they started jumping for it. had to make two more for hubby and me cause the chicks got the first ones

Tomatoes are a BIG hit with my birds. Spaghetti is another favorite. My only issue is when they get so excited that they start whipping the saucy noodles everywhere, and they land on the backs of my white silkies.

Ever tried to pick sticky noodles out of silkie feathers? It's not fun. They do that with hamburger meat too. We brought out leftover taco meat one night and they started tossing it around like it was a game, and two of my 3 silkies ended up with it on their backs. That was not fun to remove. I have noticed that my birds don't seem to really care for cabbage either, unless it's boiled. We make a lot of soups, especially when we're low on food, and whatever we end up with for leftovers that we don't finish, we bring out to the birds. We give them a wide variety of foods, and basically whatever we don't finish, and so far some of their favorites are cantaloupe, tomato, corn, spaghetti, mac & cheese, oatmeal, cereals, potatoes, any kind of meat, worms, bread, pancakes (oh, they LOVE pancakes w/syrup!!!) blueberries, raspberries, apple, and I could go on and on. But not carrots. And apparently not cabbage either. I have a few that eyeballed the raisins I brought out there for them, but others ate them. Oh, and the brats have been filtching pumpkins from my neighbor's garden. I now owe her about $20 in pumpkins...
