What is the best way/product to get pet hair off your furniture?

You don't have to hide...as long as you keep a relatively clean house! LOL. I could have nightmares about the giant hair clumps being slung around by the ceiling fan at my grandmothers! I would never eat there, and they wondered why! LOL.

yeah..its clean..thank GOD for the Dyson!(and my hubby that vacuums

I think i'm the only person that has ever plugged up a Dyson though... they say the Dyson wont ever plug up...Maybe your not supposed to pick up hay/straw with it or something..

I have a pembroke welsh corgi and they really shed.

The furminator is great and also a pair of rubber gloves, run the gloves over your furniture, they really help remove inbedded hair.

I have a rubber brush looking thing and it grabs the fur but also a damp cloth, I spray the sofa with "static guard" and it helps release the fur

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the 3M product. It is a hand held plastic holder and they sell these sheets that stick to the handle. You rub up the pet hair which sticks to the sheets of almost velcro looking/feeling material. Throw away the sheet and you can use another when you need it.

We also use the furminator brush on our inside dog. It's way better than any of the other brushes we have. I'm not sure why your vet said it would make the hair grow back faster than any other brush.

Also, my wand on my vacuum is broken. I can't get to the corners of my rooms or on the stairs so we've been looking at new vacuums. There are a ton out there now that have pet hair attachment and claim to get up pet hair and odors with the filters. I'm amazed at the technology that's come around in the last 10 years since I bought my last vacuum.

I use packing tape, and "wax" the sofa. (lay down strips, get a good seal and rip it fast). 3 cats and a black velvet sofa.
