2.9 oz double yoker from a red sex link, pretty much identical to the post above. The normal egg is a large to XL eggs according to the jiffy way egg scale.
Mine came from either a sex link or a RIR. Most likely the sex link. She is very scraggly looking. In the future I am going to stick to chickens that lay a bit less. It is concerning she always looks stressed. And she is very bossy. The BRs seem to handle the weather + laying alot better.

While my New Hampshire laid the egg posted earlier on this thread, a couple of months ago my Delaware laid this egg...painfully...she had quite the time laying it to the point I was worried for her.
3.5 oz (as per postal scale).
What it lacks in beauty (wrinkled outer laying from being over stretched) it makes up in size...double yolker of 2 huge yolks. It is pictured next to a regular large size egg.
