I second the "more pictures' request. She looks young, and holding her in-hand like that hides her body shape and contours. A good, full pic side shot would help. as would a front and a side view of her comb. Whatever she is, she sure is pretty!

The beak makes her look like she has some Rhodie in her, but over all she looks like a game bird mix. Whatever she is, she's a pretty girl!

Here is a neat link. Note that their general gene pool was fixed long before the coloured egg trait was bred in. I don't know why people started calling any mixed coloured-egg layer an EE.

Just a shot in the proverbial dark, but my guess is that people started calling them all Easter Eggers when the hatcheries discovered that they could charge more for their colored-egg mixes by labeling them as such in their advertising ... Oh, the power of marketing!
