Any fish with scales is not a scavenger and is safe to eat for the most part. Any of the Pacific rock fish are good.

Keep in mind, that most of these parasites will not infect humans. The fish you have to worry about are the ones that inhabit fresh or brackish water (like salmon...).

We candle all our fillets for worms and then cook it properly. You probably really do not want to know how many parasites the avereage person eats.
