Recently in another thread, water column height for gravity-fed nipple drinkers has been discussed briefly. I'm interested about "real world" experiences that folks have had using the drinkers. Primarily two things....the height of the reservoir and the functionality of the nipples (whether the birds get a good supply of water, leaking, any other issues/comments, etc.,.).
I had been planning a gravity-fed system but was figuring on placing my reservoir much higher than what is recommended, so I'd like to know what "folks in the field" have actually experienced. Apparently, water column height is more limited than I had figured.
Thanks!
Ed
