What is the name of your farm/ranch?

I have enjoyed reading through this tread also. THe stories with the names are great.
Our place is call The Gravy Ranch. It's not big our home is on an acre and half and we have 8 acres of pasture with 2 ponds and a pine treed lot.
We had a dear friend named Frog who labeled our place. It was the day we brought my Saddlebred mare home to live with us. She was given to me by a very sweet farmer in Iowa named Kendal Johnson. As we were unloading Iowa Star aka Big Sis off the trailer Frog gave her a good rubbing and told her "They'll treat ya good here old girl and you will eat well on this Gravy Ranch" And the name stuck. Frog pasted away this April. Sure miss him and his jokes. He was the kind of fellow that helped everyone out. He may have not had much but what he had he always shared.

We named our farm- Running Horse Farm.

We had a sign made and a rather unusual mailbox as well, based on one of our horses named "Blue"

The person that designed the mailbox decided that he would include our turkey Bourbon. He was very intrigued by the name. Bourbon has by him a bottle of spilled Mild Turkey. The chickens look on with disdain........

Ours is simple just plain Haag's Farm...It's our last name.

But....my maiden name is Italian (Lalli) and we were going to name the farm Llalli Llama Farm. Then we added cows, chickens geese ....oh well!

Yes, BiddyAcres Frog knew we kept the name Gravy Ranch and he would boost to folks about the care we took of our critters here. And he knew we were in the process of building our Greenhouse. He was always a great help. Thanks

My dad has a thing for that movie "Pure Country" with George Strait. After thinking for awhile about the name of our farm, we realized we wanted something to do with "Pure Country", but we don't quite live on a farm. Sooooo...we decided "Pure Country Acres". We don't have a sign yet, but eventually we will get one.

I don't live on the farm - my sister has 6 acres in Newbury Ohio. We have 8 alpacas and 4 angora rabbits. We wanted to name our business (farm) Charmed Alpacas of Newbury - but someone else (in Florida) already had the name Charmed Alpacas - so we named our farm Be Charmed Alpacas. We have 8 alpacas and 4 angora rabbits. I have had my house for sale for almost 3 years so I can move closer and get my chickens! Our alpacas are really charming!!!
