What is the sex of my 7 week old partridge Silkie? (UPDATED and FULL of pics!)

OMG!I HATE HATCHERIES!

I get it. Because the sometimes miss identify a chick as a roo. It certainly happens. I have a Barred Rock that was supposed to be a pullet...nope roo.

Well i got this hen and suppose to be a leghorn or production red turns out its a Mix i guess not positive about it though

Hi everyone! "She's" almost 8 weeks and I thought I might give an up date.
"Her" crest isn't looking so swept back and I think "she's" looking more like a girl, but we'll see what you guys think.

















In the pics her crest looks swept back still, but I took these pics a few days ago and "her" crest is getting fluffier.

Yea. Looks like a pullet to me now too. I don't see any hackle feathers growing there. and the comb has not enlarged.

Silkies are to hard at this age to determine gender. Mine is 4 1/2 months and still not sure on gender.

I'm going to UPDATE every week with new pics of "her"! Today she's 8 weeks so I hope to get new pics up of her.
Next week when she turn 9 weeks I'll take new pics and on and on until "she's" confirmed to be roo or pullet.

OK here's some pics! Still is at very bottom of pecking order and acts like a girl. Very quiet and ALWAYS getting left behind by the other chicks.
"She is about half the size of the other LF chicks ("her" fluff makes "her" look bigger).









Oops, got left behind AGAIN! Where did they go????

This silkie is screaming hen to me.
Also, not sure if this is normal silkie behavior, but my two silkies are very independent. They don't keep up and follow the rest of my flock.
