What is this and is it serious?

This chick hatched yesterday, the white wast matter and a growth looking thing are still attached to it. I'm a little worried cause this guy hatched 2days late and I've heard that the yoke sometimes doesn't get absorbed all the way when that happens and the chick can die up to 2 weeks after that because of it. I know it's probably not that, but it still seems to be abnormal. The chick seems to be doing pretty well, maybe a little less energy than it's sibling.

Anyone know what to do? Or if it's anything really to worry about?

It may be abnormal but I wouldn't worry about it. It will probably outgrow whatever the issue is.
Speaking of abnormal. I once had a chick hatch with three legs, one perfect, another clubfoot and still another growing out of the cloaca.
If you hatch enough, you'll see all sorts of things.

For the low energy, it would be a good idea to give it some poultry formula Nutri-Drench according to dosing directions. In fact, I put that in all chicks' first water.
