What is THIS?? Look what the cat drug in....

That is a stoat/ermin...it is in the weasel family. he is wearing his spring/summer coat in the fall he will (would) start slowly turning white and only the black tip on the tail would remain black. they are called stoats when they are brown and ermin when they are white...same critter.

I just love lazy cat pictures. I have a big fat cat that could care less about the grown chickens but I dare anyone to try to open the brooder cause he lays on top and spats at anyone that comes close. He's my broody cat!

No, he was busy hanging around my coop...they saw the weasel, but didn't get it...Weasel-Kitty is afraid of chickens...but he likes to watch over them. Reads about them, too!

To the OP:

I have to say, having owned a ferret in college, a cat who would take on one of those beasties is a hard-core hooligan, and you're lucky he's fighting for your side! I'd give him nice tin of tuna!!
