Dang now Im waiting to see what happened too. The only thing I would add is wearing gloves, abscesses are nasty and you should wear gloves to protect your health and make sure your not adding more bacteria to the infection. With my experiences feet have way more nerves-I have lanced all kinds of things on animals without them even flinching but have you ever cut a dog's toenails too short and hit the quick?-they wont let you barely touch their feet again, yet I have sewn up a gash on my dog with no problem. I always give everything a shot of antibiotics after anything like this to-proper kind for the type of animal of coarse. Sending good healing vibes
