What is this wierd thing sticking out her chest!?

What ended up happening?? I have a hen that has had one of those things on her chest off and on for over a year.
It comes and goes but doesn't seem to bother her too much. Did you ever drain it or find out what it is??

Update!

We did it yesterday morning btu I wasnt home all day after it so I couldnt update ya guys! Everything went well, the hen is fine. Hopefully everything heals up fine and the infection doesn't spread. I forgot my camera but I took pics with my moms cell phone. They arent the best quality, but better then nothing! I just need to figure out how to get them from the phone to my computer! Does anybody know how?

I'll try to explain it, but it will be better with the pics

First we cleaned it with an alchol rub and soaking it in some warm water. Then stcuck a needle to to try and suck it out but it was too thick. So we took a razor blade and slit a small opening on one side and let everything drain out. There was a lot of think white.yellow liquid in it. Then we flushed it out with water and peroxide. We sprayed this stuff on it to keep it from getting infected even more. Now we're just waiting to see how it does, if it spreads or heals.

That is great! How was she when you did it? Did she just lay still? Im curious cause mine through a fit if i pick them up lol!!! I hope she heals up nicely!
