What is this???

My RIR, has trouble laying eggs. She tried to roost and nothing comes out only an egg about once a month. Then this egg came out with this cyst thing in it. Has anyone ever seen this or know what it is?

She is just about 1 year old now. What can I do for an infection? She is eating and pooping but her egg laying is not good. I gave her calcium & gave her salt water bath.

Oh no I do t have it anymore. It was pretty hard but I could have been able to cut it no problem . Geez, I should have waited before I threw it away. Tbh, It was pretty gross so I was anxious to get rid of it

That would be last resort. I would have to find one that takes chickens in my area. But I don’t want to end up with an expensive vet bill for my chicken! If she was suffering but That doesn’t seem to be the case

I ask because it's possible she has a reproductive tract infection, but a trip to the vet to find out will be expensive.

I don’t know maybe I will have to bring her to the vet then if no one has any other ideas. I mean I am not getting any quality eggs from her.

I'm not quite sure, because I don't really know what's wrong with her yet.. is there any other information you can give us?
