I was just looking at a very informative website about poop : http://chat.allotment.org.uk/index.php?topic=17568.0
It looks like the red fleshy stuff is intertinal lining and not worms. I also found out that Wazine17 is quite limited in its scope. So thank you very much for the referral. I will look for Valbazen.
To answer your question about roosting, they are roaming in the garden all day and only roost at night so I will check tonight.
One thing surprised me, though is that Nuggets (the sick ..er one) did not come running when I called. She usually leads the charge when I call and they all come running, which is quite cute. Nobody was interested this morning.
I also noticed that neither (Dexter the Wyandotte) or Nuggets eat much yesterday. Their eating has diminished lately. They were eating like hoses this past week, so maybe they are levelling off.
I have put their dish close by so I can keep checking.
In all fairness, I have to mention that I moved their coop to a quieter part of the garden. The coop used to be just outside our familyroom doors. It is now around the corner. The move was 10 days ago. I had to put them to bed the first night as they were waiting for the coop to arrive at the "old" place. They were OK by the second night. Could that be an issue in the eating less part.
Lastly I have been very busy and not really on top of things behavior-wise the past week or so. They were taken care off, but not checked periodically as I do normally during the day when it is less busy on my side of the fence.
I think I am running myself ragged with all that. I am so in the dark. Thank you all for your imput.
