We don't have any laws against rooster, just my fiancé doesn't want one. Too bad! If we had a law I would consider it. But why make him go through that if we don't reaallllyyy need to

I definitely do not understand why people keep saying barred rock or marans(yellow legs...) for this bird.

it has a pea comb and a beard.

People see barred and automatically think barred rock. I get it ALL THE TIME. He's a Barred Easter Egger, and very handsome indeed!

You're right. There is an extra dose of frustration if there's a response listing reasons for why it isn't BR or marans yet some responses after it throw up BR/marans. Do people not read any more either?

He's getting so handsome. His feathers are getting this blue and emerald green shine to him and he has just one glimmery golden feather on his wing. He's awesome.
