Hi Peckygirl,
It looks like a Barred Rock or a Cuckoo Marans. The only difference I have seen is the Barred Rock has more of a sensible pattern and the Cuckoo Marans is less patterned. Without having another like it, you might try looking at pictures of both online to see if you can clarify which yours looks more like. Enjoy!!
