Soft gels are fine and probably all you will find. Just cut a hole in them and squeeze onto food. Many chick vitamins such as Poultry NutriDrench and Poultry Cell and others contain E in normal amounts. You will want to give more for neuro problems. Foods high in E are almonds, sunflower kernels, spinach, salmon, sweet potato, and more.
I have to use a heavy water container, such as a coffee can full of water in crates, since they will get messy. You can make a hole near the top, and tie a string to the crate, or get some crate cups that attach to the side, and use them. Placing a heavy bowl with wet chicken feed might help. You can mix a little egg, yogurt, or other things into it.
