What is wrong with my potatoes?!?

I dug them up today after the stalks turned yellow. These are fresh out of the ground like that.

You can try to make sure the ground dries between watering to try to reduce chance for rot. You aren't eliminating watering, but trying to make sure you don't get stagnant water in there.

Potatoes are easy for the spud to go bad more than many other kinds of vegetables. So you have to be careful of stagnant water, and then also when storing them you have to worry about this kind of stuff more than a lot of other things also.

I think you have too little drainage there.
