Hello! So we have a white hen who looks sick but we’re not sure. Her comb and wattle has dried up and gotten very small. She’s lost weight and a few feathers. We thought it was molting but it’s been a few weeks and she still hasn’t lost any more feathers. She isn’t laying eggs but doesn’t seem too sick. She’s still up and walking around and eating treats. All the other hens we have are fine. Also we don’t have a rooster. She isn’t getting bullied since she’s top chicken but we’re not sure if she is sick or just stressed from the cold. She’s been like this for maybe 4-6 weeks and no improvement. What do you think is wrong?

Check for lice and mites. If she hasn’t been dewormed, I suggest deworming her to make sure it’s not worms. If those don’t help, she could be dealing with possible Coccidiosis. Is it cold where you live? Does she look more paler than usual? How’s her poop?

We did no sign of mites or lice and were deworming all of our chickens currently since they have not been dewormed. It has gotten colder due to the seasonal change but nothing extreme we live in the south east of the US so the lowest is probably 30 degrees currently. Her comb and waddle were huge and bright red and she was pretty plump, they have gotten much smaller and more pink tone and she has definitely lost weight and feathers. As for her poop I’m not exactly sure I haven’t see any not normal poops but those could be from the other chickens

You don't mention how old this hen is. The older they get, the longer their "winter break" will be from laying. It sounds like she's healthy and just on a break for the winter to me.
