What is your dream chicken breed?

At some point I would like an Isabel Ameraucanas (Lavender Wheaten). I have pretty much everything else I have ever wanted. I have been thinking about free ranging with some red junglefowl but other than using them as conversation pieces to talk about chicken history, not sure how useful they would be to me over all the others I keep 😅
That sounds gorgeous!

Well, I have & love my Ameracaunas, Wyandottes & Buff Orpingtons & Copper Marans & RIRs & 1 Comet & 1 Delaware/Buff/Brahma mix...I'm really liking the look of the Delaware feather pattern & the chunkiness of Brahmas, think I want to see some more of them in my flock. I also just adore the Phoenix ever since I met a handsome Roo at the yearly poultry show. I like Sebastopol Geese, too. Ya know...I think I need more land LOL.
How are your Wyandottes? Mine are super skittish, never lay, and not very great.

A sweet, snuggly chicken that is almost like a dog personality wise, but that also makes me laugh. That has lots of fluffy feathers and lays a diffrent colored egg every day ( any color of the rainbow) and the yolk is that same color as the egg shell (and has good production). Also, has a soft fluffy crest, but not one that covers their eyes.
ABSOLUTELY!

I want a bird that

is predator averse
flies well
forages
lays eggs well
lays eggs in a nest box!
& blends into the wilderness while also being pretty

:lau
Maybe a Brown leghorn? (not my pic)
