What is your dream chicken breed?

That sounds gorgeous!
They aren't an approved color with the APA of course, so they can have some variety in what the breeder says an Isabel/lavender looks like. But they are so pretty when done a certain way. I tried to get hatching eggs this year but... COVID, so eggs from a good breeder were harder to find. I also wasn't interested to get random eggs off ebay and hope for the best. Hopefully 2021 is better. 🥳

Those are gorgeous! I hope you have good luck!

I plan to start with Wyandottes or Silkies depending on circumstance so:

Flock 1: Wyandotte/Silkies
Flock 2: Sumatras
Flock 3: Wyandotte/Silkies (I'd like both eventually)
Flock 4: Auraucanas

End Game: The infamously expensive Dong Tao

What is a dong tao? Have you had Wyandottes? I do and I jsut don't like them.

First off I am sorry about being late to post but I have been sick so...
Just selective breeding of my Brahma flock:)
That's ok. I hope that you are doing better now.:hugs Selective? Well, here's a mix that I had got: a Buff Orpington (father) Buff Brahma (mother) mix. She was pretty big, and was all buff except for some on her tail, but she didn't have the featherey legs like the Brahma. She did have them, just not as much. She had two sons, and they had pretty featherey legs. Sorry that I never weighed her.
