What is Your Favorite Word to Describe Your Flock?

The ducks are Quackers. I quack and they come running, which I call a quack attack. (We have 18 females, 22 total)

Seramas are tiny chickens

Silkies are fur rugs (its hot here and they just flatten out)

Ayam Cemani are my lovlies (devilish tone though)

O Shamo are hatching now, but I've been thinking about... security crew, scaries, or just plain AHHH! The last one assuming they are chasing me.

Individually most of them have names, but I tend to name the breeds/group too. Collectively though it's just birds.

Oh I love "security crew"!!!

Oh I have also given mine some meat, they love the dried meal worms but they are in moderation only! My Chickens eat just about anything... They love hay which is growing in the back yard, they love grass, weeds and lettuce, corn on cob, tomatoes and squash and watermelon. I try to just go in the coop to hang out because I am constantly feeding them something and every time I go in there they are looking for food lol... SO sometimes I just go in and hang out with them, it is so peaceful!

I actually do the same thing...when I first go in their run, they are all over me (they scream to one another, "the treat master has arrived!") Once they know I'm going to hang out, I'm no longer THAT interesting...! Hmmm...makes me think if I even matter...boo hoo!

I call my Muscovies wonderful, precious, lovely, beautiful, perfect, magnificent, and marvelous.
I also call them barvazim matokim sheli. It means my sweet ducks in Hebrew.
I absolutely love my Muscovies! They're so wonderful! ❤❤❤❤❤

Gosh...could you imagine if we ALL called ourselves these wonderful terms of love, love-hate, ying/yang, coodles??? I think I could grow to love being called even Velocoraptor (sp?) knowing it is said with love! I also think my head would swell to the point of BOOM!!!

I affectionately call mine 'flea brains', well......because.....they are as dumb as a bag of rocks and I love every one of them! Even the evil flea brained hen that loves to beat me up when I take care of her and her chicks....I call her T-Rex.

'Wing Kingdom' for the collective. And, as time passes we end up inevitably saying 'the big girls' and 'the babies' for the different groups.

My chickens all have names, but collectively they're known around here as 'pooper troopers' cuz DAYUM.... 71 chickens poop A LOT

Wow! 71 and they all have names? How do you remember them all? Can you identify them all?

These are seriously awesome! I love "the Pixie Chicks," that's clever. You should get an award for originality or something. Treat yourself to ice cream. With gummy worms, lol!
