Big Red is my favorite chicken, think she is a mutt. Its not becouse of color or build or anything like that. She is just a sweet chicken great temperment and lays a big green egg about every day. My favorite breed is the Dominique, which i dont have any of, but i am looking for some laying aged hens.

my favorites are my barred rocks. My hubby's is Bug Wit our Rhode Island Red she follows him all over the yard. Today she came in while he was playing pool amd gpt on his pool table. He got mad when she decided to leave him a gift

I also have a chick thats a barnyard mix. Shes my most beautiful. Am getting more Rocks tommorrow.
