What killed my chickens

I came home to find one chicken missing and 2 dead (about 9 weeks old)
The head was tore off one, legs on another and a few feathers around. There is no blood and they were in a dog kennel directly on my front porch for the time being.

I'm sorry for your loss. That's terrible! Raccoons are well known to reach thru fencing and pull heads or whatever they can get ahold of off. They also have no problem coming right up to the house. Most dog kennels I've seen have gaps between the bars that are too wide to keep chickens safe from most predators. Best to cover it with hardware cloth.
