What kind of chick is this?

Hi. We purchased 2 road island reds and 2 australorps from tractor supply a week ago. All 4 are supposedly pullets. They had 2 chicks that had been picked at so they gave them to us to rehab. They’re doing great. We have no idea what they are or if they are male or female. We are hoping they’re female as we really like them. Every time I’ve been in TS they have slightly different varieties available so I’m not able to determine what they are by looking at others. They’re tall, with large legs and they’re heads are lighter in color than the reds. The Reds are in these pics also. Thanks!

They occasionally look like reds to me but they’re a lot bigger. And they’re feathers are lighter.

They look like production reds to me.

basically they're Rhode Island reds that have been added to in order to increase egg production. They look similar to RIR, but slightly lighter in body and color usually.

Updated pics. I think they’re NHR’s. Any idea on gender? Their tail feathers are coming in after being completely picked away so we don’t have that to look at.

We’ve had them a little over 4 weeks now. Whatever Drummy is, it’s a beautiful bird. Still hoping it’s a she.
