What kind of chicken are these?

We got these babies yesterday from my kindergarten teacher friend. Her class finished incubating them. They hatched this week (April 3-6) and we are curious as to the breed. They are from Callaway, MO. Thank you in advance for any insight!

Hi there! They will be much easier to identify once the feather in, so update js then! A popular breed that they could be are BOs. Super adorable whatever they are!

White Leghorn is a good bet, or white Plymouth rock. But I agree that you won't know for sure until they are older. There are a lot of breeds with white varieties, so it will be necessary to assess their builds when they develop.

They look like meat birds to me. Cornish x would be my guess.
