What kind of chicken is this

    I bought this chicken suppose to be a rir and just wondering what it is thanks [​IMG]

    The bird front and center looks to be a production red - much to light to be a RIR, the bird in the background (at the waterer/feeder) is more likely to be a RIR.

    that looks like a female rhode island red but it might have a little bit of white leghorn in it

    The last shot appears to possibly show black feathering coming through in the tail - is that the case or just the way the picture looks?

    ETA - you posted another picture while I was posting - this is in reference to picture in post 7

    It does have some black on the tail and on back of neck and it's wings
