what kind of demon bird is this

mocking bird, they are part of the thrasher family I think, or close related. Prolly has a nest nearby or is defending its territory

You could keep the cats inside. I wish more species of birds attacked cats . . . maybe it would train them to keep their minds on rodents.

lol we call them demon birds too. My son thinks it is hysterical watching the one that has a nest somewhere near a stop light that has crosswalk. Everytime we are stopped at that light we get to watch this demon bird attacking whoever is standing there waiting to use the cross walk . . . they usually end up not waiting for the light and running across the street.

no these cats dont come inside i have 2 inside and 4 outside and that is where they stay but if it dont stop hubby is going to have to do something to stop it because my poor cats isnt messing with it at all and it wont leave them alone they cant get a mins peace so I really dont see how it could have a nest because it never spends anytime there all days long it is busy torutoring my cats

Nothing you can do to stop the mockingbird from attacking your cat. They are very territorial. I've seen them run off birds 3 times their size.
