I have a Genesis 1588 and it is AWESOME!!! It comes with the temperature pre-set, so all you have to do add water and plug it in. It's that simple! I also paid the extra $ for the egg turner. I have always had good luck with the bator and you will find many more people here on BYC who also love their 1588. I bought mine from Cutler Supply, but I saw where Home Basics have them and they will give you a discount for being a BYC member.

i think that hova bators are a god send. in general.. i really dont like LGs... yuck. GO HOVAS!!

I love my sportsman also, they are the best incubator made in my opinion. I've got 2 new ones and 4 older ones and they all work great.

I have an old Transparent Hen made by Lyons back in the 60s that I get 100% hatches out of sometimes....

I have a 1583 Hova Bator circulated air...works great...

I have hatched out over 200 chicks just this Spring with these two.....

I have an old redwood cabinet incubator. I love it, I could hatch 800 chicken eggs at a time, if I wanted too.

I love my homemade one $14, 100% hatch rate. Just no egg turner yet. DID i say yet?
