AH! Spiders!!!

Ever since I was 10 and saw a spider in the shower, squashed it and a million billion trillion babies came running out of it after me, I can't stand them!!

I don't mind 2 kinds of spiders, daddy long legs and those teeeny tiny red spiders I see on the sidewalk. I don't think either are really spiders tho. Our house is up in the woods, on the side of a mountain, and was vacant for a year before we moved in. We had hundreds in the house! Called Orkin, they got rid of 3/4, the rest were squashed by hubby. Don't get me wrong, outside, they are welcome. Except widows and recluse, those are torched. Litterally, hubby keeps a can of brake clean and a lighter handy just for them!!! (Children, don't try this at home) He gets all excited when we find some, which has been less and less often for some reason

Dang... see now that confuses me. I just want to kill them all... cant i just kill them all??

What really sucks and creeps me out now that I've had to research Brown recluse/fiddle backs. They live a long time and can go 2 years without eating anything and when they bite you, you don't feel anything, just end up with a giant hole in your body where they bite. Yeah, I hate them and wish them all a quick painful death.

That's sick.

I wonder if that could pack off a chick?

It reminds me of the first night we spent in our house when we bought it....

I went to put on my pjs after my shower and when I picked them up, I HEARD something hit the floor. I looked and saw this:

Not nearly as large as a "wolf spider," but still not a fun thing to discover in your clothes....these are "garden spiders" and we have them all over in the summer. They build HUGE webs above the doorways (around the lights).

No I'm in a GREAT mood. You? Actually I was attempting to be humorous in a truthful and ironic sort of way. You know, humans have all these strange phobias of various "animals" (think non-venomous snakes, spiders, etc) when humans are the scariest, most destructive animal of all. Get it now? Sorry, didn't expect it to go over heads....but you did sort of prove my point with your nastiness so thank you!

Truthful? People have phobias and they are real, and scary. Maybe read a book on humor? I'm a very pleasant person, but I do not try to make people feel childish over their fears, it's not nice or humorous. I think you have proven your point through your words as well. Your words to the OP and other posters could be very destructive as well.

Phobias may be real but they are irrational. Perpetuating them - especially through children - is a great disservice and a form of child abuse IMO.
My words were destructive? LOL. I will move on to another topic and definitely keep an eye out for you. I don't have the time or patience for your type's immature, argumentative nonsense. Find someone else to irritate.
