What made you happy today?

This was yesterday, actually, but I had just gotten into my car after picking up some hardware and these went walking by.

I love this picture!^^ This made me smile.

Today I set up a get together with a friend I haven't seen in over 6 months and weeded my asparagus bed. The former is a wonderful thing to look forward to (that makes me happy) and the latter made me feel productive (that also makes me happy).

Sometimes just getting things done makes me happy. In a "job well done" way.

I got all my stone planters full of beautiful flowers. Will be doing my garden in the next couple of days

I pulled out the smoker. The smoked quail is a success.

Got my tomatoes and strawberries planted today. Tomorrow I will do the carrots, green beans, and onions

Rice pudding made me happy today. I made some yesterday evening. DH doesn't like it, so it's all mine, and I had some this afternoon for a snack.

Got the rest of my garden in today. It's not much but it's enough for my small family of three. I love being able to go to the garden and get fresh fruits or veggies for dinner, then collect the fresh chicken eggs. Makes me wish I had more land and that my husband would let me have a milk cow. Oh well, I am very content being able to do what I can now. I love canning my beans, carrots, and tomatoes. Then enjoying them all winter long! And I can't wait for my strawberries to start producing so I can make jelly. Yum
