^Sounds like a place DH would LOVE... he's always going on about his Scout trips to Colorado and New Mexico, LOVES the mountains. And the kiddos are dying to see an ocean. DH wanting to teach Philosophy at the college level means your University system would be a major plus to him too. Sounds like you've got a nice little slice of Heaven.
