Well, guys, since you walked me through the unexpected litter and two deaths, I just figured you enjoy the update fotos of the lone survivor. LOL Her name is now Ginger. Here she is at 7 days old. Also, a foto of my granddaughter and Lela (6 weeks old).

Well, you are locked in on the self and the non-extension, so some version of tort is just about guaranteed. It would depend on what else they are carrying. If the tort is carrying a dilution gene, you might get blue torts. If the tort is carrying chocolate, you might get chocolate tort. The C-series could provide a few surprises - do you have the pedigrees?
i have it for the tort. the tortoise i will be getting this weekend. if i breed tort, will i always get tort?

And if they carry dilution and chocolate then lilac torts.

Tort is a self color, and since self is the most recessive in the A series, self to self always makes a self. Tort is the non-extension gene in the E series, and non-extension is the most recessive in its series, too. The C series is where things like siamese sable, himi, and REW happen. If a pair of torts are carrying the appropriate genes from the C series, you could possibly get sable points, himis, or REW's. Other than that, for the most part, yes, torts bred together will produce torts.

So, I have another genetics question. My friend bred two mini lops, a smoke pearl, and a broken steel. The babies don't look anything like the parents. The colors are as follows:
One solid that is grey with a white belly
Another solid that is dark grey with a white sheen to the fur
A broken that looks like a lighter black color (I'm thinking this one might be a steel)
And another broken, with grey colored fur
I don't know what was in their lines... Any idea what colors they could be?

) can't wait to keep them! The black and white one got tip of his war bit off.

Those are SO beautiful. I know you are in love. And, it's so nice that you are holding them and letting them know you before you take them home.

Sasha was born under weight.
so she's a preme.
meaning she's lethaly small only weighing in at about a half pound.Way too small for her breed.2seth2,may i ask why you wanted her weight? The modeling company put her in the under weight section for that category.

:D Sasha doesn't gain nor loose weight.
she's stayed thin, too thin for too long.We are trying to get her up to par but unfortunately she's just born that way and is a peanut!:)

Sasha loves you!

Well because you are calling her a runt, preme, and penut she cannot be 2 of these and survive she was one and really sorry but peanuts don't live to be adults. I have heard of s few penuts living, but they won't make it past a year.
